Summer Season : 6th March - 31st October
Daily from 9.30am - 5.30pm
During the summer season all of Farming World's attractions are open to the public.
Winter Season : 1st November - 19th December
Wed - Sun Only 10.00am - 4.00pm
Please note that during the winter season only the indoor play area and the main animal barn are open. Father Christmas weekends in December up until 19th December
Farming World is CLOSED in January and February
Horses are measured in 'hands' (hh) a hand is 4 inches (10cm)
Horses feet are called hooves. They wear metal 'shoes' to protect against hard surfaces. Their hooves grow and have to be trimmed every six weeks - like our nails
A baby horse is called a foal. When born its legs are almost as long as its mother's
Horses can sleep standing up. Their 'knees' lock to prevent them falling over
